Introducing World Legends – Any Hero Essentials: a new chapter in the Overpower ™ legacy. After more than 20 years, BMG & Associates is thrilled to bring you a groundbreaking product that seamlessly integrates with the beloved Overpower ™ game. World Legends – Any Hero Essentials opens up a world of new possibilities, allowing players to expand their decks and strategies like never before.
The World Legends – Any Hero Essentials pack is the must-have expansion for every Overpower ™ enthusiast. This pack includes 28 unique cards plus a couple of surprises! Most notably, this essentials pack includes all four power types of the any-character “level 7 attack” and “4 make an additional attack,” As well as the location’s cards “4 make an additional attack.” This has been a fan/community ask for a long time and BMG has heard it!
This exciting new release also brings a host of thrilling additions, including a new Dracula Character Card with new stats, powerful new versions of the Any-Character cards, and four new locations that create four unique and innovative primary strategies that have been playtested and loved by the existing community. Finally, the Essentials pack introduces the Cataclysms’ mechanic, replacing the traditional Devourer of Worlds card with a suit of cards that give players a customizable choice in deck design and grant Any Character cards the versatility of other existing mechanics.
These 28+ cards will feature high quality art from the same artist used for the World Legends Foil Power Card Pack, our fresh iconography and logo, and a fresh new layout for special cards – all printed on the ever-popular linen cardstock (beautiful and slick, but with “waffle” texture, like PowerSurge), and shrink-wrapped as a “double-pack”.
The Any Hero Essentials are fully sanctioned for use in the upcoming North American Overpower ™ League tournament circuit. Prepare to test your skills against the best players in the region as you compete for ranking points, prizes, and the ultimate title of Overpower ™ Champion of 2023. BMG will be providing a completely new foil Any Character card, that will be unique to each of the NAOL events, and providing prize support including uncut sheets or both this and our previous offering.
